Au revoir summertime!

It's been a delightful summer here on Cape Cod.
We've had lovely meals!
Here's a mozzarella salad made with fresh tomatoes from Nantucket.
Shrimp cocktail by the bay.
Champagne, bien sur!
French girls came for a visit.  Tres gentile!
Oh, but I did go up to Binghamton, New York and I met some adorable art students from the local university.  They dressed up for my Bonjour, Happiness! book event at River Reads Bookstore.  
So cute! 
(I should also mention that I finished a new book this summer titled "The Secret to Ooh la la.")

Back at home, we went crabbing.
 Actually, my husband did the crabbing.  I cheered him on wearing my blue suede shoes.
And now, it's time to say goodbye to summer and Bonjour, Autumn!

    That mozzarella salad makes me long for summer all over again ; it's one of my favourite dishes ! Best wishes for a great autumn !
